VERY SECURE
I feel very confident about my iphone being on this mount. It goes nowhere going over railroad trackes or potholes. I have everything on my iphone and would be lost without it.

GOOD BUT...
Pros: holds basic phone securely.
Cons: will not work with a phone case.
This is a good holder. It does the job. I wonder though, do any of the copmanies making accessories for iPhone use an iPhone, or try their product with an iPhone? I have 2 cases for my phone. I have a Mophie and an Otterbox. This holder does not work with either case. Each case takes a different plug-in to sync or charge. And niether case works with iTrip transmitter.
While this holder does hold the iPhone securely, if it should fall, as suction cups sometimes fail, my phone is exposed to disaster.
Recommend? NO OPINION

WORKS GREAT WITH THE IPHONE 4
Pros: craftmanship, great fit to phone... zero movement.
Cons: not really a con, but has to be removed from case.
I bought this to go with my iphone 4, and it works perfectly. What is every nice is my wife can use it with her 3G as well.

GOOOD IPHONE MOUNT
Snug fit to the iphone. Snaps right into place. Gives access to volume control and other ports. I would still secure with a rubber band for extra safety if riding over very bumpy ground.

EXCELLENT IPHONE MOUNT
Pros: perfect and secure fit.
I truly enjoy finding products that function as described. This is a low profile perfect fit for the iPhone. I bought two of them for use on my boat at the helm and nav station. Because we use cover's that easily snap on/off our phones, this is was a great choice for keeping bulkiness to a minimum while securely holding the phone. I do not recommend this for those who have their phones encased in difficult to remove covers.

ALMOST PERFECT!!!
Strong, secure and looks good. Eazy to use and mount. The only thing that would make it better is more room to accommodate aftermarket case so one would not need to remove the case everytime...

INCREDIBLY STURDY AND SECURE

With the RAM iPhone mount, I'm sure that it'll hold my iPhone securely under any conditions. I'm installing mine in a small airplane, and have no concerns whatsoever that my iPhone will always be right where I left it.

BEST IPHONE MOUNT
i reviewed alot of styles of iphone mounts. this one is the best. its the simplest and securest. i use it on my bike.
i love that it uses zip ties instead of some specific part you have order if you move it to another bike.
i love that it is modular and i could use the same mount in my car, or wherever.
it removes easy, pivots easy, and is well made.

GOOD MOUNT
i am pleased with the ram mount it is solid and no vibration, i have used this mount for my motorbike and used the Tomtom rider ball to mount it on the stem , as the Diamond Plate with 1 inch Ball RAM-B-238U, that i purchased with it did not fit the Tomtom ball holder which is much smaller.
I hope Ram will make a new mount to fit the coming solar charger from Apple, that would be grate. no Wires to the battery :-)))

FANTASTIC IPHONE HOLDER
Pros: phone stays put
Cons: have to take your iphone cover off, oh well
so I've tried a few holders for the iPhone. I even tried one universal holder so I didn't have to take off my iPhone cover. But I finally relented and, though I have to remove the cover from the phone, I LOVE THIS HOLDER. I habe been using it on my road bicycle - over numerous bad roads and a crash - and it stayed in the holder. Also have it mounted to my Harley motorcycle too now - also hit many bumps and potholes and it stays in its holder. This is GREAT unit. Highly recommended.

VERY NICE MOUNT...
Pros: securely holds the phone, every feature accessible
Cons: needs some soft material between phone and cradle
I purchased this cradle with the RAM Mount Handlebar Rail EZ ON OFF Base RAP-274-1U and I can't be happier. I have one base for my bicycle and one for my Segway and I can just take the cradle from one to the other with no problems. I was a little concerned when I first got it that it would be secure enough, but that's not even close to an issue. It is very secure and I don't think at all about the phone coming out of the cradle. The only improvement I can think of is if there were some felt or foam rubber between the hard plastic and the phone. I can see scuffs and scratches in my future if I don't do something to protect my phone.

SOLID MOUNT
Bought this mount to mount my iPhone to my dash. It fits the iPhone perfectly. Be aware that this fits the iPhone only. If you have it in any case it will not work without modifying the cradle.

RAM MOUNT USED FOR MOUNTAIN BIKING

I have riden with this so far about 5-6 times. I was most worried about the descent, and would it hold my iPhone securely. So far, very good. My descents hit 25 mph over dirt paths with many parts that were washed out with repetitive bumps. Realize that it you use a case for your iPhone, you need to take it off each time. For that reason, I change to one that was easy on/off and that I thought would put up to repetitive cycles. Not a big deal though.

FITS PERFECTLY
Pros: perfect fit and not bulky.
Cons: can't use with cases or covers.
No complaints. Been using this with my iPhone for a while now. Clips on and off quickly. Space for charging cable below. Does not work with any iPhone case or covers. Only good for the iPhone alone. This is fine for me, however, since the iPhone is a tough little phone.

Pros: secure, easy to remove and install phone
Cons: rubbing wear marks into phone
Decent mount, holds phone securely only complaint is it has rubbed wear marks on the back and top of the phone. I put a piece of felt on the mount where needed and seems to be good now. Installed on BMW 1150RT motorcycle.

EXCELLENT CELL PHONE MOUNT
Pros: clean, smooth, adequate
I am very happy with my RAM iPhone 3G Cradle. It holds my iPhone securely where I positioned it. The top clip was quite "snug" due to the "Invisible Shield" I put on my phone immediately after I purchased it. I found I had to remove a small portion of the shield at the clip location - that was accomplished easily. I am a very satisfied customer.

STREAMLINED, FUNCTIONAL AND SECURE
I am a cyclist, if you couldn’t tell by the name and wanted to mount my iPhone 3G to the handlebar shank of my bike. All of the competitor’s solutions were bulky spring loaded squeezes mounts and wouldn’t accommodate the diameter of the handlebar shank.
The Apple iPhone 3G Cradle fits the iPhone securely and perfectly. I have no concern that the vibration of the bike will shake it loose. I may add some adhesive padding to the inside to absorb some of the vibration though. I did have to purchase the handlebar mount along with this, which came with straight and slightly angles rubber mounts. Nice touch. The angled mount was perfect.
Overall I am very happy.

VERY SECURE MOUNT FOR NAKED IPHONE
Holds the phone very securely. I have my iPhone in a "film" case (Bodyguardz), which surrounds the whole phone in a very thin film. It fits in this holder as-is, but the clip on the top of the holder is destroying a small section of the film case. I am considering cutting off that part of the film. The iPhone holder is great otherwise.

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT
The first time I used this with my G3 it cracked the phones case at the point where the data cable plugs in...split it right up the back center of the phone. It can't be used if you have a protective case on your phone either without taking it out of its case. There should be an option to use it with or without a skin.
