RAM IPHONE 4 MOTORCYCLE MOUNT
Pros: cost, ease of install, functionality
Cons: the backing plate is a little flimsy at the top
works great. Easy install and removal if your don't want to leave it on. Very afforadable.

WARNNING *** SKIP IF APPLICATION IS A MOTORCYCLE *
Pros: inexpensive
Cons: extreme failure mode, loss of iphone in motion
Contrary to what RAM markets this as, it is the same mount as the original iPhone (2G) so it is not customized for the iPhone 4. Under _Extreme_ bumps the excess play can cause the iPhone 4 to leave the mount, and the slightest bump on the release can have the same affect. So I don't recommend using this on a motorcycle. Ram technical support verified the part is the same part, and they offered to exchange my mount for another identical mount. If you do use this on a motorcycle, I suggest a wide elastic band at the top and bottom of the phone, and grinding down the release lever to the minimum you feel comfortable with. I also but a thin piece of foam (3/32 inch) behind the phone to remove the play. RAM should have made the "ears" at the bottom bigger and done a custom mount for the contours of the case. This is just a inexcusable thing to do, and then list it as two different part numbers to create the illusion it is made for the iPhone 4. I have moved to an enclosed case (also weather tight, so bonus) with a membrane cover over the iPhone, and then used the small round plate mount and three stainless steel flush mount machine screws counter sunk into the back plastic (and glued in place with an additional smooth layer of filler plastic cement so they are more or less permanently mounted) then aircraft acorn nuts (closed on one side with a nylon nut captured in the stainless "acorn") along with a nylon washer. This is a positive containment for the phone and I can still operate the touch display without removing the phone. Just removing one glove for the time being, but there is a solution to that too.

IPHONE MOUNT WORKS WONDERS!
Pros: fast shipping, sturdy built.
Cons: expensive international shipping, gap at cradle.
RAM mount was easy to install and is really sturdy. However, shipping to Singapore was overpriced and the paint was flaking off at one part of the diamond base plate. Also, there was a noticeable gap on the x-axis of the cradle. So i wouldn't recommend this moount if you're gonna take videos with your Iphone.
