The RAM-B-138-AP3 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Apple iPhone Series.
Apple iPhone Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-AP3 Apple iPhone (non 3G) RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Apple iPhone 1st Generation including:
- Apple iPhone (4GB hard drive),
- Apple iPhone (8GB hard drive),
- Apple iPhone (16GB hard drive).
The cradle is open at the top and bottom to allow you to connect head phones and required cables plus use all of the required buttons. When mounting the iPhone cradle to a RAM Mount with their patented ball and socket system, you can easily display your iPhone in landscape or portrait view. Now you can enjoy your Apple iPhone the way it was designed - very easily. If you are looking to mount the Apple iPhone 3G (2nd Generation) you require the RAM-HOL-AP6 Series of Apple iPhone 3G Mounts.

Apple iPhone Mount Arm Design:The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Dual Socket Arm is a B Size 1 inch Ball Dual Socket Arm, made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 3 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends.
Apple iPhone Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-202 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Mount Base Mounting Solutions:Mounting hardware is NOT included with the purchase of the RAM-B-202. A semi-permanent solution for mounting this base is by using the RAM double sided adhesive disk (RAM-202PSA). The disk will hold the RAM-B-202 base in many different locations without screws.
