Luke Nov 21, 2008	RAM MOUNT SUCCEEDS AND FAILS There are several things I liked about the iPhone RAM mount, and several things I disliked. The Good: • Minimal Design - this functions well with the sleek and simple look of the iPhone • iPhone holder - the phone clips in well with a bulky design • Flexible aluminum rod - easy to move and stays in place The Bad: • Plastic covering of rod - the rod is covered with a cheap plastic sleeve. No where in the product description is this listed. I'd gladly pay an extra $10 for a powder coated rod. • Connectivity - the floor mount DID NOT work with my Subaru WRX. The site claims "This mount does not require any drilling for installation." This might be true for SOME vehicles. It wasn't for mine. I had to cut the mount in order for it to fit. There should be a list of supported vehicles. Or at LEAST a photo & diagram of installation along with measurement so prospective customers can see if it will work with their vehicle. Recommend?
