The RAM-B-125-AP1 Apple iPod Classic Series Extended Yoke Clamping Aviation RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Temporary Clamp Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Apple iPod Classic Series mount to your optimum viewing position.
Note: This mount does not require any drilling for installation.

Apple iPod Classic Mount Options:

Apple iPod Classic Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-AP1 Apple iPod (classic) RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold all of the Apple iPod units, except the iPod 2nd Generation 20GB hard drive (touch wheel). The cradle is open at the top to allow you to connect head phones and use all of the required buttons and has a cut away at the bottom to allow the connection of all required cables.
Apple iPod Classic Mount Cradle Plate Design:
 The RAM-B-125B Marine Grade Aluminum Extension Plate with 1 inch Rubber Ball allows you to maneuver your GPS unit, or any connected device, in more positions than the standard mounting plate. Originally designed to position your GPS in front of the yoke on your plane, the extension plate can also be used in many other applications.
The end of the plate is 2.5 inches square with predrilled holes for many different screw hole patterns, including the universal AMPS hole pattern and all RAM made cradles. The plate extends approximately 2.25 inches forward, at a 45 degree angle, from the center of the 1 inch ball and approximately 1.5 inches above the 1 inch ball (to the bottom of the connection section of the plate).
Apple iPod Classic Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Apple iPod Classic Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-121B RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Yoke Clamp Mount Base fits a rail diameter from 5/8 inch to a maximum of 1 1/4 inches. The 1 inch rubber ball is at a right angle to the plane of the mount so when connected to a rail, the ball sits parallel to the rail. To mount the base, simply place the yoke clamps around the rail and then screw the large knob at the end of the threaded rod. The hand tightened clamp makes this the perfect mounting system for rental planes and unusual shaped motorbike rails.
NOTE: The rail does not need to be perfectly round to mount this base.
