The RAM-B-149-AP2 Apple iPod Nano (1st and 2nd Generation) Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Apple iPod Nano (1st and 2nd Generation) mount to your optimum viewing position.
Apple iPod Nano Mount Options:

Apple iPod Nano Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-AP2 Apple iPod nano RAM Mount Cradle is a High Strength Plastic Composite Cradle designed specifically to hold the Apple iPod nano 1st Generation and 2nd Generation including:

- Apple iPod nano 2GB (1st Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 4GB (1st Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 2GB (2nd Generation)
- Apple iPod nano 4GB (2nd Generation)

The cradle is open at the top and bottom to allow you to connect head phones and required cables plus use all of the required buttons.

Apple iPod Nano Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Apple iPod Nano Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Apple iPod Nano Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
NOTE: This base is completely rust proof.
For Larger Rail Mounting:
For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.
