EXCELLENT IPOD MOUNT
Works great looks great, priced right, not flahy like a billet mount, but does it's job and looks fine. Highly re ommend any ram mount stuff, fast delivery great pricing.

TYPICAL RAM CRADLE
Pros: custom fit and secure for ipod touch
As is usual for a RAM cradle designed for a specific make and model, this cradle is excellent, securely holding the iPod Touch.
In response to Shawn who mentioned that bumps in his truck caused his iPod Touch to skip and how it could damage the hard drive of the touch... The Touch doesn't have a hard drive. It is all flash memory.
Your skipping is caused by the "shake to shuffle" feature on the Touch. It is interpreting the bumps while driving into you wanting to shuffle the songs. I had the same problem on my Goldwing. Just go to Settings->Music and turn off Shake to Shuffle.

GREAT IPOD TOUCH MOUNT
I bought this for use on an exercise bike and it works great. Holds the iPod Touch in a perfect angle where I can use it to watch movies.

GREAT BRACKET WITH ONE (IPOD) ISSUE...
Pros: typical ram fit and finish... great!
Cons: may allow enough shock to jar the touchhard drive.
I have a TON of RAM products and whether on/in my motorcycle, ATV, truck, or car they all work fantastic! This bracket fits like a glove and pairs with other RAM components as it should. Mounting my Touch in a 4x4 pickup with this bracket revealed one issue... more with the device than the bracket. A few larger bumps in the (paved) road caused the device to "skip" or jump songs (not good for the hard drive). While I think my stock 2004 Tacoma rides fairly rough I didn't think it was that rough. Just consider your vehicle and mounting location when choosing this bracket/system.
In fairness the Touch, like any portable, hard drive based device, is susceptible to strong shocks... a weakness the flash memory based devices don't have. The RAM system is meant to absorb some amount of shock & vibration. I guess even this system does have it's limits. It's no fault of this bracket though...

GREAT FIT
Pros: all buttons and connector still accessable
Cons: must remove thicker protective cases first to use
Good fit for iPod Touch 2G plenty of access at bottom for docking cables. Still fits even if you have a clear- plastic protector on the iPod. This is the second one I've bought now for my cars.

ITOUCH GEN 2 CRADDLE (PERFECTO)
Pros: as advertised!
Cons: shipping was slightly less then cost of the mount
works great on my Harley and no more XM radio, love tune via the iTouch. Mounted below the Zumo 550 and I logged 600 miles 2days after I received the mount in the mail.
