Pros: solid once mounted
Cons: no instructions
You are on your own to figure out how to mount this thing mounts (no instructions) and it can be tough when RAM doesn't send all the hardware...it was missing one of the stainless steel mounting screws (supposed to come with 2 screws, 2 nuts, 2 different u-bolts). I had to go buy a screw to fit even though RAM assured me they would send me the right hardware. Funny thing, of the 4 RAM products I purchased, 2 were missing or had the wrong hardware. The rubber cover which is supposed to go over the hose clamp (beforehand!) can bunch up depending on the size of the bar it is mounted to may need trimming. However, the mount works well to hold my gun mount or gps cradle.
