Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-149Z-2-202A Camera and Camcorder Plate ATV and UTV RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Steel Clamp Strap Base and and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Camera and Camcorder mount to your optimum viewing position.
Camera and Camcorder Mount Options:
 To help ensure you have the Camera Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Camera and CCTV mounts with a 1/4-20 male thread on the RAM Camera and CCTV Cradles and Mounts Page. Here you can select from suction cup camera mounts, flat surface screw down camera mounts, camera car mounts, wall camera mounts and more bundled with a RAM 1/4-20 male thread for Camera and CCTV mounting.
Camera and Camcorder Mount Plate Design:
The RAM-B-202A RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Camera Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate with a centered 1/4"-20 thread. The plate adds support to thread, allowing a more stable connection with the camera.
Note: The male 1/4" long, 1/4"-20 thread in the middle of the 2.5" diameter plate will connect to the standard female thread found at the bottom of most still and video cameras. An alternative to this camera mounting system is the RAM-B-237 Male 1/4"-20 Threaded Ball.
Camera and Camcorder Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-B-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-B-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Camera and Camcorder Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231-2 Marine Grade Aluminum Utility Strap Clamp Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles. The Strap Base tightening screw is encased in a compact housing for a clean, safe finish. The strap is long enough to wrap around handle bar posts found on most ATV, UTV, Snowmobiles, Motorcycles and any other applications you can think of.
Strap Dimensions: 1.57" (40mm) to a maximum of 3.15" (80mm).
