The RAM Vehicle Mount Base is the starting point in building a strong, sturdy mount for your vehicle. The RAM-VB-102 No Drill Laptop Vehicle Mount Base has been designed specifically for use in the following vehicles without Deluxe Power Seats:
- Chevrolet 2500 C/K Truck (2000-2006)
- Chevrolet 3500 C/K Truck (2000-2006)
- Chevrolet Suburban SUV (2000-2006)
- Chevrolet Silverado Truck (1999-Newer)
- Chevrolet Tahoe SUV (2000-2006)
- GMC Sierra Truck (2000-2006)
- GMC Yukon SUV (2000-2006)
The base installs quickly and easily to the existing bolts connecting the passengers seat to the vehicle floor. The base plate mounts in a position to maximize the passengers leg space while also creating a foundation to connect a RAM swing arm mounting solution by using the telescoping pole (not included).
Important Note for Powered Seats:
If your vehicle is listed above and has POWERED SEATS, you will require one of the vehicle mounts listed below:

Here is a listing we have put together of some of the common Chevrolet and GMC Vehicle Mount Riser Base features,

- Installs with existing seat rail bolts

- Angled 4" riser (RAM-VB-SB4) moves pole away from passenger's leg space
- Angled 4" riser (RAM-VB-SB4) included with purchase of mount
- Extra angled risers can be purchased to raise connected mounting systems
- For Vehilces with power seats, please look at the RAM-VB-131A-SW1 or the RAM-VB-131R4-SW1
Important Installation Instructions:
- Remove the two front 5/16" hex nuts that hold the passenger side seat cushion to the seat track brackets.
- Lift the front of the seat cushion off of the front of the the seat track brackets.
- Position the VB-102 on top of the seat track brackets so the slots in the VB-102 line up with the holes in the seat track
brackets.
- Lower the seat cushion back into place, allowing the studs to pass through the holes in the VB-102 and seat track
brackets.
- Re-attach the two 5/16" hex nuts.
