The RAM Vehicle Mount Base is the starting point in building a strong, sturdy mount for your vehicle. The RAM-VB-103 No Drill Laptop Vehicle Mount Base has been designed specifically for use in the following vehicles:
No Drilling required for installaion
- Chevrolet 1500 C/K Series 2WD (1994-1999)
- Chevrolet 1500 C/K Series 4WD (1994-1999)
(Note: Mounting base only fits when selector is on the vehicle dash) - Chevrolet 2500 C/K Series (1994-2000)
- Chevrolet 3500 C/K Series (1994-2000)
- Chevrolet Silverado(1999-Older)
- Chevrolet Suburban (1994-1999)
- Chevrolet Tahoe (1994-1999)
- GMC Sierra (1994-1999)
- GMC Yukon (1994-1999)
Drilling is required for installaion
- Chevrolet Blazer K5 (1993-Older)
The base installs quickly and easily to the existing bolts connecting the passengers seat to the vehicle floor. The base plate mounts in a position to maximize the passengers leg space while also creating a foundation to connect a RAM swing arm mounting solution by using the telescoping pole (not included).
Important Installation Notes:1. This base may not work with the factory installed center console or with Four Wheel Drive Levers that are on the floor.
2. Drilling may be needed for vehicles with a bench seat.
3. Note that the measurement ''D'' found on the base plate is 9 1/2''. Check your vehicle dimensions prior to purchasing this base. Some GM models have factory installed accessories that prevent installation.
