The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with Zinc Coated U-Bolt Rail Base consists of the 1" dia. ball and socket system with RAM Plastic POWERED Cradle for the Compaq iPaq 3100, 3600, 3700, 3800, 3900, 5100, 5400 and 5500 Series.
BASE DESIGN:
 The RAM-B-231Z RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0" long when measured between socket centers.
CRADLE DESIGN:
 The RAM-HOL-CO2P RAM Mount POWERED High Strength Plastic Cradle with expanding top is designed to hold Compaq iPaq PDA units, including the following,

PDA Expansion Packs:
This cradle will hold your PDA if connected to an expansion pack, or left in the original protective cover.
PDA Cradle Assembly Required:
