RAM MOUNT ADAPATER
Pros: good tight fit Cons: good tight fit
This bracket clamps on quite securely, but be careful when sliding it on as it is a tight fit, or you will break off the rubber control cover like I did..... Also be sure to remove the leash BEFORE you try to put this on.

WORKS OKAY...NOT GREAT, BUT OKAY
Pros: quick and easy solution for mounting a contour Cons: poorly designed and cheaply made
If you keep an eye on this, it will probably work okay for you. I used this to mount a Contour HD on my motorbike. A couple problems I experienced: 1. After about my third use, the metal latch on the leash snapped. It wasn't obvious that it had broken, so I could have lost the whole camera unexpectedly. The part was very cheaply made, so it was no surprise that it broke. 2. The power button on the Contour requires a fair amount of pressure to turn on. If you're applying this pressure while the camera is in the mount, it pushes the camera OUT OF THE MOUNT! It would make more sense to me to change the design around such that pressing the power button seats the camera tighter in the mount, not pushes it out. 3. The ball and mount will loosen and separate from each other if you don't constantly check it, or better yet, apply some threadlocker.

POOR QUALITY MOUNT
Cons: not rugged enough for motorcycling.
While attempting to mount the camera on my motorcycle the Contour camera adapter broke where the RAM ball screws into it. I was not putting undue strain on the mount - certainly less than would be encountered in dual sport riding. I sent an inquiry to gpscity.com a few weeks ago and they have not replied.
