The RAM Mount Black Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Assembly System includes a 1" dia. ball and socket system with a DUAL 3.25" Plastic Locking Suction Base and a RAM Universal Diamond Plate End. This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM designed products. The hole pattern found on the Diamond Plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts, including those with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern.
Plate Cradle Design:
 The RAM-B-238 Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch Diamond Plate. The plate has two pre-drilled holes positioned at either tip of the diamond plate. The hole pattern found on the Diamond Plate will connect to a large variety of RAM Mount and third party cradles and mounts, including those with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern. Arm Design:
The RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm (RAM-B-201) is 3.0" long when measured between socket centers.
Base Design:
 The RAM-B-224-333 RAM Mount Dual Locking Suction Cup Base with 1.0 inch diameter ball consists of a High Strength Plastic Plate with a RAM Locking Suction Cup Base at each end. This base has a suction grip which allows you to mount this system to any non-porous surface, like a windshield, with confidence.
