Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-182 Cradle Plate Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Motorcycle Reservoir Cover Center Base and Diamond Plate. The cradle diamond plate has a hole pattern that matches the industry standard AMPS hole pattern and will connect to a large variety of RAM Mount and third party cradles. The pivot points for this mount consist of the RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system and are located at the cradle plate and base ends. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the cradle plate mount to your optimum viewing position.
Universal Cradle Plate Mount Options:
To help ensure you have the Universal Diamond Plate Mount you require, take a look at the list of available diamond plate mounts with a double hole pattern on the RAM Cradle Diamond Plate and Mounts Page. Here you can select from suction cup mounts, flat surface screw down mounts, car mounts, wall mounts and more bundled with a RAM-B-238 Diamond Plate for cradle mounting.
Universal Cradle Plate Mount Plate Design:
The RAM-B-238 Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 1 1/4 x 2 1/2 inch Diamond Plate. The plate has two pre-drilled holes positioned at either tip of the diamond plate. The hole pattern found on the Diamond Plate will connect to a large variety of RAM Mount and third party cradles and mounts, including those with the industry standard AMPS hole pattern. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Universal Cradle Plate Mount Arm Design:
The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-B-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-B-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Universal Cradle Plate Mount Base Design: The RAM-B-345 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Motorcycle Reservoir Mount Center Base fits cleanly over your existing reservoir cover. The one piece design includes a 1 inch diameter rubber ball for creating the ultimate mounting solution for your motorcycle.
