I like to shoot videos for youtube driving various vehicles and farm equipment. I needed a hands free method so I could keep both hands steering or working controls of the vehicle or machine.

I had been impressed with the strength and durability of the Ram mount that came with my Trimble Ezee Guide GPS system used in the tractors. So the Ram suction camera mount looked like a good alternative to hold my panasonic TZ1 digital camera while shooting video.

It holds the camera solid and gives a reasonable range of adjustment. So far I am impressed with it.

BIKE MOUNT FOR MY THUNDER CAT
Ready to explore
Ready to explore

ATVing is great fun, but in Northern Ontario the old trails criss cross all over and start to look similar after a while. A GPS is a must in this part of the country, but driving a Thunder Cat ATV is a 2 handed task!

I needed a reliable and easy to install mount for my GPS. This mount holds steady in all sorts of terrain and keeps my GPS safe and in plain sight.

I've bought several items from GPS City and been very pleased with service and delivery. My Garmin 2730 goes from my Goldwing to Trailblazer in seconds. My riders group does the Virginia Grand tours and we see parts of Virginia that no one normally sees.

Ever wondered what the actual size difference between the 1" ball size arm's really looks like? Well wonder no more! In the following four pictures you will see the difference between the three sizes in an Infiniti G35, right next to the main gauge console.

I personally use the standard 3 inch, RAM-B-201U arm in the G35. The other two sizes are either too short, or too long for my preferences. In a small car such as this, the long arm is just a little too long for the dashboard, and I feel it is a little too close. For a bigger car or SUV on the other hard with a larger dash surface, the long arm would be perfect. For a smaller car, the short arm may be preferable to your needs.

Check out the pictures!

VACATIONS GUIDED BY MY GARMIN 276C

I recently went out of Margarita Island, Venezuela (where I live). My trip started in the oriental part of Venezuela targeting to ride around the country.... that was first time I ride my car too far from home, so i decided to carry a good friend who guide me trough the whole way: My GARMING 276C mounted in my dashboard with it's Ram Mount from GPS City....

At the end of the story, my girlfriend and I made around 3500 KM trip in my Toyota Land Cruiser, riding for first time trough a beautiful country I did not know before... all without effort due to the auto-route capability of my 276C.

I thank you guys from GPS City for your excellent customer service and the complete product gallery you have in stock fur us.... I recommend you 100%

Note: click on the link below to watch additional pictures of this trip...

IPOD SUCTION MOUNT

I am using a Suction Cup window mounted iPod Nano mount in my car. I have placed it right next to my rear view mirror. I ran a headset jack and line from my radio, under the dash, up the A pillar and across to the mount under the headliner so I can plug my iPod into the car stereo system. This will explains the zip tye and black wire running down the mount (which I have unplugged from the iPod in the picture) Also visible in the picture is the antenna for my remote start (which might be confused as part of the mount or wiring). Excellent sturdy and affordable product for sure!
