GREAT SUCTION MOUNT
This is the second Mount I have bought. Works great even when there is extreme temperature fluctuations. Never had one fail.Mac

VERY SECURE AND PORTABLE
The suction mount is very easy to attach to any flat, smooth surface and provides an extremely secure mount for a high-profile GPS unit that I use on my Polaris Ranger. I drive the Ranger pretty aggressively on rugged desert terrain and this mount has never failed.
Pros: easy to secure/remove.

EXELLENT MOUNT FOR BOATING ELECTRONICS.
Great mounting device for use of GPS and antenna in boats. Sticks very well to windshield and smooth fibreglass surfaces.
Cons: would like to see this mount in white.

This mount works awesome. Suction locked to my truck windshield and has not budged. Like the position adjustability. RAM makes awesome stuff.

USED SOLELY FOR MARINE USE ... WORKS GREAT !
I use this mount for on my outrigger racing canoe. I have it suctioned to the smooth gel coat surface and I have no fear of it coming off. I have yet to get out on some really rough water but the 'smack' tests I've conducted seemed quite positive. I do keep a safety leash just in case something does happen and it plummets to the bottom of the lake/ocean. My only qualm with it is the weight, but I was aware of that going into this.
