ROCK SOLID MOUNT
Pros: economical, sturdy, secure
Cons: none
Extremely sturdy mount for my DeLorme PN-30 GPS. I use this mount for both my bicycle and canoe (with the RAM EZ-ON/OFF™ Bicycle Mount) and on my kayak (with the RAM 2.5" Composite Round Base and RAM Double Socket Arm mount). Holds GPS rock- steady at all times.

RAM MOUNT FOR PN-20/40
Very well constructed. Fits the PN-40 GPS perfectly and works with the remainder of my RAM-Mount equipment that I had used for Garmin GPS units. The PN-40 snaps quite forcefully into place - some concern over repeatedly inserting and removing. The design allws for the 8 pin connector (either USB or 12VDC car plug) to remain attached to the GPS.

GREAT PRODUCTS

Just like every other product they offer, it fits and works perfect. I have other mounts from Ram and they are all excellent.

THIS IS A VERY STURDY MOUNT
I do quite a bit of off road biking and this mount holds my DeLorme earthmate PN-60 secure. It is a very sturdy mount and i would recommend it fully.

bought 2....had to smooth casting ridge on both, inside upper lip. First to hold gps to car dash, 2nd to hold gps to a heavy duty Al cane

VERY BEST GPS MOUNT
Pros: very sturdy, light weight and fully adjustable.
Cons: none
This GPS is mounted on my boat, it is very sturdy and fully adjustable for easy viewing. The new cradle for the new GPS was received and installation took less than one minute, because these mounts are so well designed.

RAM MOUNT CRADLE WORKS WELL WITH PN-40
Pros: good price and works well
Cons: fits so well, its hard to remove gps from mount
Purchased to be able to mount delorme PN-40 in car. I matched it with a garmin beanbag base and it works like a champ.

RAM GPS MOUNT (CRADLE)
Pros: sturdy, snug fit
Cons: ball support not included.
RAM makes the best mounting system - period. I use their system for my depth finders and gps units (I have 4 separate units). I have not had a bit of trouble with any of them.
The mount for the PN-20/40 is sturdy and fits the unit snuggly.
The only surprise with this order was that it wasn't clear that the ball support is not included with the cradle. Luckily, I have one from my previous GPS mount.
GPSCity was awesome in getting this to me quickly.

GREAT GPS MOUNT
Good bang for the buck. Inexpensive, quality, simple. This thing just works! The fit is VERY tight. You're PN-20 WILL NOT be coming out of this mount. I attached it to a custom fabbed mounting plate on my Jeep dash and it works like a charm.

PN40 CRADLE
Pros: fits well
Cons: customer service and possible deceptive ad
The cradle is strong and fits perfectly. I do however have two criticisms of the company itself. 1st the documentation in the description does tell you that you need the diamond ball mount which is good. But the picture of the item shows the complete cradle and diamond ball mount. This is in my opinion deceptive advertising.
Also, I called on a weekend to complain about this and was never called back. I ended up purchasing the diamond ball mount from another source.

WELL MADE CRADLE
The cradle seems well made and holds the Delorme Pn series gpsr very well. It accommodates the cable's 8 pin connector with no problem. It is a tight fit which is desirable, but seems to have enough give that one does not have to worry about the cradle breaking trying to get the device in and out. It is nice to have a lifetime warranty anyway. Very quality item.

PN-40 CRADLE
Pros: pn-40 can be charged while in the cradle
Cons: top holding finger may become weak - we'll see.
I feel that all the Ram Mount items are good and this cradle is no exception. Well designed and very strong. I use it on my ATV with a short arm and it performs perfectly. I have recommended this cradle to others and they are also happy with it.

Pros: very good fit and very secure
Cons: no way to use the power adaptor
GREAT PRODUCT. VERY SECURE. NO WAY TO USE THE POWER CORD WHILE IN THE CRADLE THOUGH LIKE THE RAM MOUNT FOR MY MAGELLAN. IF IT HAD A PROVISION FOR THE POWER CORD IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A 5.
