Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-VB-106R4-SW1 Vehicle System is the perfect starting point for building your own vehicle mount. As part of the No Drill Vehicle Mount range, this mount has been designed specifically for use in the following vehicles:
- Dodge Sprinter Van (2003-Newer)
- Buick Rendezvous ¹ (2004-Newer)
The Vehicle Mount consists of three parts. The vehicle specific base, the RAM telescoping tele-pole and a RAM double swing arm system with an open 1.5" dia. Socket End.
The RAM 1.5" dia. Socket End is open for you to design the perfect mount for your application. You can connect any of the RAM 1.5" dia. Rubber Balls Plates to the Socket giving you the power to mount pretty much anything.
The No Drill Steel Plate Base installs quickly and easily to the existing bolts connecting the passengers seat to the vehicle floor. The base plate mounts in a position to maximize the passengers leg space while also creating a foundation for the RAM telescoping tele-pole.
The tele-pole has a height range of 12 to 18 inches and is easily adjusted by turning the knob at the top of the post. Once the knob has been tightened, the tele-pole becomes a rigid support for the mounting system. Connected to the top of the tele-pole is a double swing arm system which includes two 6 inch long arms joined with a hand adjustable knob. The arms allow easy movement and positioning of the mounting system for either the driver or the passenger.
NOTE: Laptop and Laptop tray shown in the picture is not included.
[1] The 4" riser is connected to the vehicle base plate facing forward when installed correctly in the Buick Rendezvous. When installed in the Dodge Sprinter Van, the 4" riser will connect facing to the left.
RAM Tele-Pole Vehicle Mount System:
The RAM Vehicle Mount Tele-Pole System is a unique patent pending design that allows varying height adjustments.
 At the top of the tele-pole is a knob. With a small twist of the knob, the swing arm is free to rotate in a 360 degree circle in the horizontal plane, while the tele-pole is locked in the vertical position. With another small twist of the knob, the tele-pole is now free to move up and down for optimum mount positioning of your laptop in your vehicle.
This easy to operate vehicle mounting system is included in the entire RAM-VB Laptop Vehicle Mounts. As with all RAM Mount products, it is strong, easy to use and reliable and includes A LIFETIME MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY.
