THE PLATE DOES NOT ATTACH TO SUCTION CUP CORRECTLY

Cons: plate

Received the item. Never had a problem with a RAM Mount in the past, ever (always 100% satisfied). This plate does not seem to be made exactly for these suction cup units and the cups end up being on an angle. Call GPS City and they told me they will send me a new plate (Great service GPS City). Will definitely buy other products from you because of the great service.

DUAL SUCTION BASE PLATE

Pros: stays put
Cons: none

RAP-333-224-1U As substantial as I hoped. Big but stays where you put it. I just want my GPS to stay in place and this gets the job done. As far as everything aligning, they do. The screws are really longer than they need be so exaggerated amounts of torque during assembly are not required. Go flush then just a tad more. Works perfect.

CUPS DO NOT SCREW DOWN EVENLY TO SPREADER PLATE

Pros: sturdy product
Cons: unnassembled product

There needs to be better spacers between the suction cups and the spreader plate, the cups sit at an angle

DUAL SUCTION CUP BASE

Pros: suction cups are great
Cons: base does not attach to cups properly

This mount base is not structually sound when it is assembled. There were no assembly instructions with it. I obtained assembly instructions from the RAM company but still the mount was not structurally strong. The back is not solid and has only pegs sticking up which do not match the suction cup attach points. The small diamond adapters that come with will crush when the cup is attached to the base.

RAM MOUNT DUAL LOCKING SUCTION BASE

Pros: solid and well built
Cons: none

This product is exactly what I needed. The dual suction cups hold my Lowrance GPS solidly and release only when I want them to. I did not need the plastic bracket in my particular application I ordered this item online and later that same day gpscity sent me a e-mail telling it had shipped out and I received it with two days Sure beats driving around and hoping to find it locally -Thanks.
