ETREX RAM MOUNT
I used the RAM mount for my GPS in my Polaris Ranger Crew. Its a necessary acessory for anyone doing serious trail riding. Its mechanically very solid, and adjusts easily. The way the RAM mount is designed, it also gives you flexibility to mount almost anywhere you have a horizontal or vertical surface.

This thing is solid, mounting/ viewing positions are unlimited. Easy to get E trex in & out, all buttons accessable when in the mount, using it on my boat.

GPS MOUNT
Pros: clean install, totally bombproof.
Cons: a bit heavy.
This mount is solid and provides many options for installation. Fits the eTrex perfectly. I attached to a standup paddle board for training.

RAM MOUNT ETREX SERIES SCREW DOWN PLATE MT REVIEW
Cons: none
Easy to install, pretty good range of motion to adjust display and holds unit firmly.
Mounted on piece of maple in front of my seat (double paddle style canoe...you sit on a foam floor seat) in my canoe...I added two pieces of maple to mount the GPS and a kayak deck bag.
I will add one or two ram mount rod holders eventually.
Recommend? YES

RAM MOUNT ETREX COLOR SERIES
Bought this mount for use in my boat. It's made with very solid materials and holds the gps unit securely. The design allows the gps to be adjusted into virtually any position. I'm still able to access all buttons on the gps when it's in the mount. If I had to find something wrong, I would say that in really cold temperature, inserting and removing the gps might be more difficult. You basically have to bend the plastic "fingers" out of the way. The good news is that I'm not going boating in that kind of weather. Overall, I'm completely satisfied and would recommend this mount to everyone.

VERY VERSATILE AND STRUDY MOUNT
Pros: adjustability and build quality
got this to mount my garmin to a motorcycle dash, so far so good. Only worry is spreading apart the holder to remove and replace the GPS in cold weather. Hopefully not a problem. Fast shipping and good experience with GPS city. Stayed very solid on bike through a dual sport adventure. Excellent quality.

RAM = QUALITY
Pros: good construction
Cons: expensive
Ram is the standard for GPS mounts in my book. This is my 3rd unit and I didn't consider any other product.
