VERY GOOD MOUNT
Pros: built quality
Cons: easy to steal (not the gps, the mount)
I was surprised by the built quality of this mount. It will probably outlive the GPS...

Pros: easy installation, sold, flexible positioning
Easy installation. Solid mount. Flexible positioning to get the best angle to see the screen.
Exactly what I was looking for!
Someone did an earlier review and said the GPS bounced out when he went over a bump. I don't believe it unless he did not place the unit in the bracket completely. You would have to destroy the front of the bike in order to knock the unit loose from the mounting bracket and I'm not sure the GPS would come even then.
Someone else complained that the design of the bracket made it really difficult to get the eTrex in and out. I do not find it a problem. (I'm 63 and have small hands.)
I've put over 1200km mostly on gravel backroads, many with washboard, and a little rough offroad riding, including dropping the bike at slow speed once already. The eTrex has never been close to coming out of its bracket and the bracket has never shown any sign of coming loose from the bike. Not even when I dumped the bike.
Highly recommended.

GREAT DIRT BIKE GPS MOUNT
Pros: easy to mount.
Cons: none
I used the RAM mounting system for my Garmin eTrex and it worked great. We logged over 126 miles of nasty Hatfield McCoy trails in West Virgina and it worked with no problems. Well built!

RAM MOUNT ETREX FOR A CRF 450R MOTORCYCLE
I mounted my GPS to my motorcycle for riding on trails. Mount works pretty slick and there a several mount location options. I had one of those slow moving crashes that usually causes severe damage to the bike. My GPS was saved by the mounts ability to move and no damage occurred. I am very pleased with the mount.

RAM MOUNT FOR GPS
I work for Malcolm Smith Adventures motorcycle (dirt Bike) tour company. We put GPS and Mounts thru HELL! on the Baja Penninsula, New Zeland, South America....... we had to build our own mounts until we found RAM MOUNT......... Ram Mount has the PERFECT designs protecting the GPS and riders from injury......... there is nothing better than RAM MOUNT for GPS attachement to Motorcycles.....

EXCELLENT MOTORCYCLE GPS MOUNT
Came with extra parts to accomodate different sizes of handlebars. Holds the GPS well but releases quickly. I've had the bike out on some severe trails and no problems. I don't know if it's the best mount as I have never tried any others but it's working well for me.

PERFECT FIT
Pros: easy to assemble.
I bought this so I could mount my GPS on my Yamaha Scooter. It mounts super easy and holds the GPS very securely. This is a first rate product.

GOOD ETREX MOUNT FOR OFF ROAD MOTORCYCLE
I use these on three KTM's, a 530 EXC, a 200 EXC, and a 300 XC-W. No problems, easy to install/use.

RAM MOUNTS ARE GREAT
Pros: durable, snug fit
RAM has been making mounts for devices for years and their quality is second-to-none. The mount holds the device securely, and fits perfectly. It bolts onto my handlebars with ease and is overall a great addition to my motorcycle. It is easily positionable as well.

GOOD MOUNT
Pros: lifetime warranty
Cons: pretty large and heavy compared to the gps
I had my doubts for a while about RAM mounts. They appeared clunky and awkward. I broke down and ordered two and my opinion has since changed. They are solid and sturdy but still a little clunky looking.

RAM HANDLEBAR MOUNT FOR ETREX VISTA CX
I have two of these, both on KTM's, a 530 EXC and a 200 EXC. They work well. No complaints.
I am using the internal AA batteries (not hard wired into the bikes' charging systems) and have not had any issues with the GPS shutting down from vibration. They are both ridden very hard off road.

QUALITY
Used it on a MX bike with no problems. I modified the aluminum body with another slot in-order to mount in a lower protected position. I couldn't fab anything up with half the quality for twice as much. Needless to say I am very happy.
