MUCH BETTER THAN THE GARMIN MOUNT
Pros: designed to last, made in usa Cons: power cord has to be unplugged, a bit bulky
I have bought first RAM mount when original Garmin mount disintegrated after two years of service because the plastic it was made of became brittle and the hinge broke. I have bought second RAM mount for our other car when second Garmin mount disintegrated just after two months for the very same reason as the first one.

USING EZ-ROLLER INTERFERES WITH EXTERNAL POWER
Pros: very secure, mounts and adjusts well Cons: incompatible features
Yes it's easy to get in and out of the cradle, yes you have access to the mini USB port, unfortunately you must unplug the GPS before getting it into or out of the mount.

RAM GPS MOUNT
Works great. The plastic arms can be overtightened...they only need to be finger tight. However, when you do break one, RAM's customer service couldn't have been better. I took a digital photo of the cracked part and emailed it to them, following the instructions on their website. A week later the part showed up in my mailbox. No Charge, covered under their lifetime warranty.
