The RAM-HOL-GA16 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the following GPS units,
- Garmin eTrex Summit HC
- Garmin eTrex Venture C
- Garmin eTrex Venture Cx
- Garmin eTrex Venture HC
- Garmin eTrex Legend C
- Garmin eTrex Legend Cx
- Garmin eTrex Legend HCx
- Garmin eTrex Vista C
- Garmin eTrex Vista Cx
- Garmin eTrex Vista HCx
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The Garmin eTrex 10, 20 and 30, and Black and White Series (which includes units like the eTrex Yellow, eTrex Camo, eTrex Summit, eTrex Venture, eTrex Legend and eTrex Vista) WILL NOT fit this cradle. The eTrex 10, 20 and 30 units require the RAM-HOL-GA48 cradle. The eTrex Black and White units require the RAM-HOL-GA5 eTrex Black and White cradle
Placing your GPS into the Cradle:Place the bottom of the GPS into the cradle, and then push the top into the expandable 'arms' at the top of the cradle. The 'arms' will snap into place when the GPS is completely in the cradle.
Included with the Cradle:The cradle includes a set of two nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any of the RAM compatible mounts.<
Important Mounting Information:
If you already own this cradle, or any other cradle with a hole pattern that will match the RAM Diamond Plate hole spacing, then you require one of the RAM Assemblies listed below. If you are looking to purchase a complete mount for the above cradle, take a look at the Complete Mount list below.
This cradle does not ship with a RAM ball. To add a 1 inch ball to this cradle you need to purchase either the Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1 inch ball (RAM-B-238) or Plastic Diamond Plate with 1" ball (RAP-B-238). If you need to mount this cradle on a 1.5" ball system, you will require the Aluminum Diamond Plate (RAM-238).
