RAM MOUNTS ARE THE BEST
Pros: ram product, sturdy, multiple positions Cons: cannot use with carabiner attached to gps
Great, sturdy mount as expected from RAM. I like the fact that there are 2 ball joints allowing many different positions and placement options. The only improvement I'd make is a version that allows the GPS to be mounted WITH the Garmin provided carabiner still attached. I use that a lot when I'm walking with the GPS and don't like to take it off/on when I need to place it in the RAM mount In general, I'd like to see the cradle attached to the specific mount using wing nuts or some other method that would be easier to take off. As it is currently designed, you really need to purchase a cradle for every mount you buy for a given GPS because it's just too time consuming to remove the cradle from the mount and not lose bolts and nuts. Still, the best brand of mount available without question.

NEAR PERFECT
Pros: rock solid, infinitely adjustable Cons: use with vehicle power cord is a pain.
The best mount I have used to date. The ball joint system allows it to be adjusted to any angle. The mount is solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. Only drawback I have had is when trying to use the external power cord. It is impossible to mount or dismount the GPS unit from the cradle with the cable attached. If you wish to dismount the unit from the vehicle to use on foot, as with geocaching for instance, you must remove the entire mount from the windshield, remove power cord, then remove unit from cradle and reverse this whole procedure when ready to use it in the vehicle again. This is a bit of a pain in the nethermost anatomical possesion.

NICE BUT NOT PREFECT
I love the suction on the mounting device. Goes on easy and stays put.
Not happy with how hard it it to take the gps in and out of the mount. Its almost impossible with the power cord plugged in . When Geocaching on a long road trip I wanted to pop it in and out to grab some roadside caches but was so frustrated I had to stop using it. The only way I could get it in and out was to take it off the window and jam it in with no power cord attached than put the cord in and remount on the window. Not exactly a cache and dash.

EXCELLENT GPS'R MOUNT
I had purchased a cheaper mount from a different vendor which had two adjustment knobs. The suction device didn't stick all that well, it fell several times with the gps'r in it. The final straw was the plastic "gears" stripped. It was a pain in the rump to get the gps'r out of the device too. I could tell right away this new holder was manufactured much better than the other. The suction device is easy to operate and clings to the windshiled like there is glue on it. Its super easy to adjust and I really like the rubber ball sockets. There are no "gears" to strip. When you clamp down the mid section it applies pressure to the two rubber ball sockets and will not move. The gps'r is easy to install and remove from the cradle. This is a well built product for the money.
