4WHEELER RIDIN IN THE MOUNTAINS
Pros: everything good
the ram mount did everything it was supposed to do. it held my garmin gpsmap 62st unit without any problems. i rode 110 miles of mountain trails that weekend, climbing over a lot of rock. my unit stayed secured the whole time. thank you.

TOO BIG FOR INTERIOR USE
Pros: does what it's made for very well
Cons: too heavy, bulky and not versatile for inside
I purchased this item for interior use in my vehicle. For any exterior/motorcycle applications I think it works fine, however, for interior usage it is big and bulky.The materila used is excessive for the items it holds and rahter bulky. I would term it "lazy manufacturing". In today's world of composite materials there is a better, lighter, stronger and more versatile way to make this mount.
Recommend? NO OPINION

RAM MOUNT GARMIN GPSMAP 62 62S 62ST MOTORCYCLE MO
Very good mounting system. I have used it for just over 3 weeks using it 9 times with my GPS snapped in place. I use it on my Dual sport bike and it holds the GPS in place perfectly.I have ridden over some very rough terrian too.The only modification I did was slide a peice of rubber hose over the center part of u-bolt to help it grip the handle bars better. I will eventually buy an additional ball-u-bolt kit so I can take my garmen GPS 62s between my 2 cycles

GOOD PRODUCT
Very flexible and robust. Depending on how you mount it you can place your GPS almost anywhere you want in front of you.

GREAT MOUNT FOR KLR650 AND POLARIS 600 SPORTSMAN
Pros: stable, very adjustable, quickly removable
Cons: none, seems great so far
I bought one mount and an additional ball/u-bolt kit so I can take my garmen GPSMAP 62st between my cycle and ATV in about ten seconds. Easy to install. Unlimited adjustments and very stable. Garmin locks in easily and does not rattle. Originally ordered from Cabelas. After they sent the wrong items, the guys at gpscity.com gave me advice for the correct items (and better application). Came in quickly and as promissed.
