Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-108-GA38 Garmin GPSMAP 695 696 Series RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Universal Strap Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Garmin GPSMAP 695 696 Series mount to your optimum viewing position.

Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.0" diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter round plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-202 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Note: This base plate will attach to any of the RAM plastic HOL holders, but generally the RAM-B-238 Diamond Plate is used.
Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-108B RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Strap Mount Base is a clamping rail strap base. The base includes a 6 inch metal strap and an 8 inch long metal strap designed to fit a rail or post with a diameter from 1 to 1.9 inches. When the base is mounted, a 1 inch rubber ball sits at a right angles to the mounting post.
NOTE: The base mounts on round, square or odd shaped posts.
