RAM MOUNT FOR GARMIN 78
Pros: solid mount would recomend.
Cons: none
Very well built. Ram mount fits my Garmin 78 perfect. I was able to install on side window of my boat as illustrated.GPS city was quick and easy to deal with.

GOOD (AND ONLY) GARMIN GPSMAP 78 MOUNT
Pros: very well built and sturdy (my 5th ram mount)
I received this item after I took the boat out of the water for the season, so I didn't try it on the choppy water, but from the looks of things, it looks very sturdy. It easily grabs the GPS and leaves all access (power chord) free to use. The suction cup is massive with a strong mechanism. It should stay in place in the worst chop with a small boat.
