Stew Orange County, California May 16, 2012	GARMIN 1490 MOUNT FROM RAM Cons: see above Excellent mount. It is far superior to the windshield mount sold by Garmin. I had hoped it would never fall off my windshield but it finally did after 7 hours of 90 degree sunshine on the windshield. Nothing is perfect, I suppose, but it sure is superior to the others....... Stew Fullerton, Orange County, CA May 1, 2012	IDEAL SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM. ! Pros: solidly molded using a good engineered plastic. Cons: no assembly imstructions provided. This is a very well engineered and well produced product that solves the Garmin Bean Bag problem. The bag would never stop slipping around on either of our car's dashes The Gamin window mount often released from the windshield on a sunny Southern California day. It almost always released after the car had been parked in the sun and sometimes it released while driving After buying the first one and seeing how well it works, I purchased one for our second car Recommend?
