SECURE MOUNT FOR GARMIN NUVI 24XX
Pros: securely holds gps
Cons: uses part of garmin mount
Rock solid design to hold my new Nuvi 2450. The only negative is it uses part of the car mount so I will have to order another Garmin mount so I can easily switch the GPS from motorcycle to car.

ANOTHER GREAT RAM MOUNT
Pros: power cradle, ram tough, low price
Cons: none yet
Very easy to use and holds 2460 very tight. With this mount and RAM Suction Mount Base B-Ball Cone RAP-B-224-2U, I can change from car to motorcycle in less than one minute, with power cord. Easy to remove GPS from cradle but uses two hands. The power cradle is the best feature as it keeps the unit charged at all times. Garmin should have this on all models.

CRADLE ON ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE 4X4.

I have installed the group: GPS Garmin Nüvi 2440 (Europe) + Garmin nuvi 2400 Series Cradle RAM-HOL-GA45U + Diamond Plate with 1 inch Ball RAM-B-238U + Short Arm B-Socket RAM- B-201U-TO, and other component RAM, on a table screwed in the board of my all-terrain vehicle 4x4 with preparation for the field. The result is EXCELLENT. Strong fixation and without vibrations. The products RAM are total security. Greetings.

GARMIN 2400 RAM MOUNT NOT A QUICK RELEASE
Pros: nice quality as usual from ram stuff
Cons: not easy to remove gps from mount
My previous experience with RAM mounts has been exceptional. The mount I had for my Garmin 340 was great fit the unit perfectly, durable and easy to take the GPS on and off. This mount does fit my new Garmin well but it is more of a permanent mount. First you have to feed the power cable through a small opening, attach it to the regular Garmin supplied mount that is already attached to the GPS and then snap the whole thing into the RAM mount. The mount snaps to the Garmin ball mount and it really hangs on. Trying to remove it was a little scary I was afraid I was going to snap my GPS in half. That said, if you are looking for a strong and permanent mount for you GPS the RAM can't be beat. If you, however, are looking for something to quickly and easily remove and carry away or hide your GPS this is not for you.

SECURE MOUNT
Pros: very secure and solid mount
Installed this on my bicycle handle bar post, in combination with U-Bolt Ram-B-231U, Medium Arm Ram-B-201U and Diamond Plate Ram-B-238U. All connected together easily and combination is very secure. Processing and shipping was very quick.

THE USB POWER CABLE WILL NOT FIT
Pros: well made
Cons: cable will not fit
I could not get the usb power cable to fit in the opening in the back. I would have had to cut the opening to get it in.

Good mount but using with the power cradle does not work. I just use it without the power cradle and plug in via the bottom port.

COULD NOT GET THE POWER CABLE INTO THE BACK OF THE
Pros: well made
Cons: fix the opening for the usb power cable
Cable Connection: All cables can be connected while the Garmin nuvi 2400 series is in the cradle.
Not so I could not get the usb power cable to fit in the opening in the back. I would have had to cut the opening to get it in.
Other than that I would have kept it, It is well made... They just have to fix that.
Recommend? NO OPINION

GARMIN 2450 MOUNT
Pros: built well and secure on the wing
Cons: if used for a bike there are no cons.
Great price fast shipping. I use this mount on my Wing and my Garmin mount in my truck. It is very secure on the Wing. A little hassel to change back and forth. I will be buying another Garmin mount for the truck and hard wire power supply for the bike.

RAM 2400 SERIES CRADLE

I bought this cradle for my motorcycle. It is well made and very sturdy . The Garmin Nuvi 2460 fits snugly and securely .I'm confident it will last for years because of the quality .
