The RAM-B-174-GA24 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Reservoir Base Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter RAM ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Garmin nuvi 2xx Series.
Garmin GPS Mount Options:
To help ensure you have the Garmin nuvi 200, nuvi 205 and nuvi 205T Series Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Garmin GPS mounts on the RAM-HOL-GA24 Series of Garmin nuvi 2xx, nuvi 2x5 and nuvi 2x5T Cradles and Mounts Page. Here you can select from suction cup GPS mounts, flat surface screw down GPS mounts, GPS car mounts, non skid weighted GPS mounts and more bundled with the RAM-HOL-GA24 Garmin nuvi 2xx, nuvi 2x5 and nuvi 2x5T Series Cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-GA24 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin nuvi 2xx Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin nuvi 200
- Garmin nuvi 205
- Garmin nuvi 250
- Garmin nuvi 255
- Garmin nuvi 260
- Garmin nuvi 265T
- Garmin nuvi 270
- Garmin nuvi 275
- Garmin nuvi 275T
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The Garmin nuvi 2xxW and nuvi 2x5W Series, including the nuvi 205W, nuvi 255W, 200W, nuvi 250W and nuvi 260W WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA25 RAM Mount Cradle for the Garmin nuvi 2xxW and nuvi 2x5W Series.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-B-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-B-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-309-7 RAM Mount Motorcycle Kit Base can mount to either the clutch/ brake reservoir or directly to a round handle bar rail. The base is constructed of marine grade aluminum with an integrated 1 inch diameter rubber ball, hardware for rail mounting and both standard and metric mounting bolts for motorcycle reservoir mounting. The zinc coated metal u-bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 1/2 to 1.25 inches.
The base connects to the left or right side of your handlebar clutch/brake reservoir on the Honda Goldwing and other select motorcycles or you can connect directly to your handlebars with the u-bolt hardware. To see if this base will work with your motorcycle, check the hole spacing of the base against your clutch/brake reservoir. The holes centers have a minimum width of 0.94 inches and a maximum of 1.58 inches.
