Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-138-GA24 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Flat Surface Screw Down Base Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Garmin Nuvi 2xx Series.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-GA24 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin nuvi 2xx Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin nuvi 200
- Garmin nuvi 205
- Garmin nuvi 250
- Garmin nuvi 255
- Garmin nuvi 260
- Garmin nuvi 265T
- Garmin nuvi 270
- Garmin nuvi 275
- Garmin nuvi 275T
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
The Garmin nuvi 2xxW and nuvi 2x5W Series, including the nuvi 205W, nuvi 255W, 200W, nuvi 250W and nuvi 260W WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA25 RAM Mount Cradle for the Garmin nuvi 2xxW and nuvi 2x5W Series.
Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-B-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-B-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Screw Down Plate has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-202 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Mount Base Mounting Solutions:Mounting hardware is NOT included with the purchase of the RAM-B-202. A semi-permanent solution for mounting this base is by using the RAM double sided adhesive disk (RAM-202PSA). The disk will hold the RAM-B-202 base in many different locations without screws.

To help ensure you have the Garmin nuvi 200, nuvi 205 and nuvi 205T Series Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Garmin GPS mounts on the RAM-HOL-GA24 Series of Garmin nuvi 2xx, nuvi 2x5 and nuvi 2x5T Cradles and Mounts Page.
