Pros: does the job
Cons: will the rod fatigue and fail in the end?
Its OK. It does what its supposed to do.
It is built of solid aluminum rod, soft 1100 alloy I bet, flexible. I wish it were rubber wrapped flexible spiral wound steel pipe instead, like a Luxo lamp. But its good enough as is.
Recommend? YES
