Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-SB-180-GA32 Garmin nuvi 500 and 550 Series Adhesive Dash RAM Mount is a High Strength Plastic Composite Mount with a PSA Adhesive Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM Snap-Link friction ball and socket system that has one adjustment point at the cradle end of the mount. Once the adhesive base is securely mounted, you can move the Garmin nuvi 500 and 550 Series cradle to your optimum viewing position with a simple twist of the mount joint.
Note: This mount does not require any drilling for installation.

To help ensure you have the Garmin nuvi 500 and nuvi 550 Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Garmin GPS mounts on the RAM-HOL-GA32 Series of Garmin nuvi 500 and nuvi 550 Cradles and Mounts Page. Here you can select from suction cup GPS mounts, flat surface screw down GPS mounts, GPS car mounts, non skid weighted GPS mounts and more bundled with the RAM-HOL-GA32 Garmin nuvi 500 and nuvi 550 Series Cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:
 The RAM-HOL-GA32 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin nuvi 500 Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin nuvi 500
- Garmin nuvi 550
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:
 The RAP-SB-180 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Composite Assembly is a 0.5 inch diameter plastic ball and socket snap-link friction grip system with diamond plate end. One end of the assembly connects to the back of the cradle, and the other is a round adhesive dash mount base. The snap-link grip system relys on friction between the ball and socket to hold the mount cradle in position. This ball and socket system should only be used in a low vibration application.
