GREAT GPS MOTORCYCLE MOUNT
Pros: the sleek look on my bike
I installed the RAM Mount using the brake mount option and it was very easy to install. It also looks sleek on my bike and is easy to adjust when I'm riding. The cost was also very resonable.

EASTY TO INSTALL
Pros: comprehensive mounting harddware included
Cons: gps holder should be redesigned for external power
I used this kit on my FJR1300, using the brake reservoir bolts. The longer bolts included with the kit were exactly the right size, and I appreciated having other mounting hardware included (u-bolts for a round handlebar) -- even if I didn't need it, it is a sign that RAM have thought through how the product will be used. The only drawback that I see is that the plastic GPS holder doesn't let you put in or take out the GPS with an external power cord attached -- something that a previous reviewer had already mentioned. But after a few minutes with a hacksaw and file, I was able to cut out enough to make room for the external cable, which will let me use the holder the way I want. Time will tell if the cut-out portion is still strong enough, but it sure looks good now.

GPS HANDLEBAR MOUNT
All in all an excellent mount. Holds the GPS solid with no vibration. The adjustability in the mount makes for a wide variety of positions of the GPS so everybody should be able to find one they like.
If I was looking for a mount again I'd buy the 1.75" arm instead of the 3" arm because it would fit my application better.

BEST GPS MOUNT
Pros: not one problem fitting it on the bike
Cons: instructions were written too specific
This was perfect, everything came with it and fit without a single problem. Instructions were written so specific, it became complicated. It was much easier just putting it together than reading and assembling.

Cons: combination came with a medium length connector.
I have this mounted on a dual sport motorcycle. I do a lot of off raod riding. I believe this mount will safely hold my gps. It's very well made.

GPS MOUNT
Well made and works as described. I did add some shrink tubing to the U-bolt and a couple of layers of electrical tape to the bracket to keep the bar from being scratched. Would have been nice if there was a power cord receptacle molded into the plastic holder. That way when the GPS was not in use there would be a relatively water-proof/dust-proof place to plug-in the power cord.

NOT THE BEST IN MOUNTS
Pros: made of good material
Cons: one size fits all
After removing the bike part that this product was suppose to replace, I found that this product did not match the part removed thus leaving an unfinished look. In addition, the radius did not exactly match the bike, I had to manufacture a clamp to use it.

Mounting on a Harley Ultra Classic, there was not as much room to move it into a good viewing position. Handle bar controls interfered. I previously had the U bolt style and I think that I am going back to it.

GOOD AND BAD
Pros: very little vibratiion as fixed
While the mount itself works very well and i like it, The mounting was bad. The screws that came with the mount were too long and NO HELP was provided by the service dept. All I got was a Oh well but not that nice. $2o bucks got me a custom fitted and now it works fine.
