Does just like advertised, holds the gps firmly and safely, and yet you can remove the gps with little effort.

EASY VIEWING
Pros: very easy viewing
Cons: no battery,can't plan ahead unless plugged into ve
This "large display" gps is the cat's meow. It is easy to see in any light, and works so well, I have started using it on my motorcycle as well as in the 4x4. I can very easily see the speed box on the left, much easier than the 4.3 models.

VERY GOOD MOUNT
Pros: secures the nuvi nicely for use on my motorcycle
Cons: none
This mount holds the Nuvi 5000 very securely. The mount even has a hole in the back to allow the Nuvi's light sensor to pick up on the ambient light and auto adjust the screen brightness (if the Nuvi is set to do that).
Recommend? YES
