The RAM-B-316-1-GA26 RAM-POD-I Flex Rod Vehicle Floor Mount consists of a RAM 1 inch diameter RAM ball and socket system on a 18 inch long Aluminum Flexible Rod with a RAM Plastic Cradle for the Garmin nuvi 7xx Series.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-GA26 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin nuvi 7xx Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin nuvi 700
- Garmin nuvi 750
- Garmin nuvi 755T
- Garmin nuvi 760
- Garmin nuvi 765T
- Garmin nuvi 770
- Garmin nuvi 775T
- Garmin nuvi 780
- Garmin nuvi 785T
The cradle will fit around the Garmin cradle that is included with the purchase of the Garmin nuvi 7xx series unit. All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design: The RAP-B-200-1 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Single Socket Short Arm has a B Size 1 inch Ball Socket at one end, and a Female Octagon button connection at the other. The Octagon Button end will mount on the end of the Aluminum Flex Rod, allowing the 1 inch socket to hold your device cradle or plate. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket end.
Garmin GPS Mount Base Design: The RAM-316-1A RAM Mount Rigid Arm Base consists of a RAM octagon at the end of a 18 inch rigid flex arm with seat rail base. The RAM-POD-I mounting foot plate base is designed to connect to a vehicle seat rail bolt in your Car, Truck, SUV, RV, Big Rig or bolted location. Connected at right angles to the mounting foot is an 18 inch long Aluminum Flexible Rod. This rod can hold light to medium weight items in your vehicle safely and securely. At the top of the rigid flex rod is a male RAM High Strength Plastic Octagon Button that will connect directly to a RAM Female Octagon Button Arm.
Movement of the Rigid 18 inch Flex Arm:It is important to note that the rigid 18 inch flex arm found on this mount is designed to hold an approximate weight of up to 4 lbs. With this in mind, the aluminum rod is more rigid than flexible. It is designed to be bent into position when being installed and then hold it's position. This means you cannot move the mount around once installed with just one hand.
