| RAM Mount Garmin nuvi 7xx Zinc Coated U-Bolt Mount Description |
The RAM-B-149Z-GA26 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base Mount consists of the 1 inch diameter ball and socket system with RAM Aluminum Cradle Holder for the Garmin nuvi 7xx Series.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design: The RAM-HOL-GA26 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin nuvi 7xx Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin nuvi 700
- Garmin nuvi 750
- Garmin nuvi 755T
- Garmin nuvi 760
- Garmin nuvi 765T
- Garmin nuvi 770
- Garmin nuvi 775T
- Garmin nuvi 780
- Garmin nuvi 785T
The cradle will fit around the Garmin cradle that is included with the purchase of the Garmin nuvi 7xx series unit. All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate:
The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:
The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:
The RAM-B-231Z RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
Note: If you are looking to use this mount in the elements, we suggest the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount.
