Pros: easy to get gps in and out
Cons: must remove the lanard clip for unit to fit
easy to install with lots of adjustability. Sturdy, keeps GPS held in place.

RAM GPS MOUNT
Pros: very easy install, doesn't move one bit
Cons: none
So, I bought this mount for my Garmin Oregon because a friend of mine has the same one. I was so surprised that he hasn't broken it yet(he's hard on his stuff.. lol)
That I had to get for Adventure riding my motorcycle.
Works perfect, I'm sure I'll have it for years to come.

BULKY, BUT USEFUL
Pros: solid aluminum powder-coat finish
Cons: bulky
This is my second purchase of this product. I chose this specific one because of the stainless steel u-bolt. I have one on my quad and one on my MTB. I could have done without the SS u-bolt, but you can't beat the cool factor of SS. The bar clamp holds true and the dual pivot points of the mount allow for a variety of positioning.

EXCELLENT SNOWMOBILE MOUNT

BRILLIANT MOUNT
Pros: strong, simple to install, fits perfectly
Cons: none that i have found
I purchased this online and was a little worried about the cost and risk of a dud item. When living in NZ so far away from US suppliers I always think twice before ordering online. Well I could not be happier, excellent communication and brilliant product. Fits easily in minutes and hold strong, the mount is brilliant on my Buell Ulysses. Highly recommended

GREAT ATV MOUNT
Pros: simple easy install
Cons: should've bought it sooner
I recently purchased the Garmin Oregon 450 and this mount for my ATV , all I can say is WOW!!! Easy to install holds the GPS very sercurly and easy to remove unit out of the holder.Took all of 5 mins to install, I wish everything I bought was this easy!

MEATS MY NEEDS!
I have this mounted on my BMW GS and went back and forth about shelling out the cash for the Touratech "locking" mount as I wasn't sure how this would hold up off road. I have used it a bunch now and have yet to see the GPS move inside the cradle. Not a bid deal to pull it out and throw in a pocket or side case when stopped.

GOOD MOUNT
I like to bicycle and geocache this mount is realy made for motorcycles but I use it for my bicycle and man it works great I can move my cradel in anyway I like. my oregon 450 sits tight and if you look at the top of the cradel you will see a roller at the top which makes it easier getting in and out of the cradel. it is larger than an ordiary bike mount.

I bought this to mount my Garmin Oregon on my bicycle while I went Geocaching. It seems quite a bit more robust, perhaps for a motorcycle or space shuttle, than what I really needed. It will certainly last forever.

EXCELLENT GPS MOUNT
This is my second mount like this for my Oregon GPS, i have one for my boat and my ATV's. These are really great because you can buy mulitple base mounts to fit your various equipment (i have 2 marine type, permanet bolted down) and i have 3 different U Bolt type for handlebars.
I have even left my GPS on the ATV driving 75MPH for a 400 mile trip and didnt lose it, so i know the mount is secure.

SOLID GPS MOUNT
This mount seemed a bit bulky when I recieved it in the mail but it is very versatile and doesn't take up much room on the handle bars and what room it does use is worth it. You get an eye level veiw of your GPS and it is fully adjustable.

The RAM mount far exceeded my expectations. It is mounting my GPS on my ATV and needs to be rock solid...and it is. When looking for a mount, I wouldn't look any further.

AWESOME GPS MOUNT FOR DIRT BIKES
Pros: super simple to install and use, and very sturdy.

I am using this mount on a KTM 300XCW dirt bike for desert riding / exploring. I was really worried that it wouldn't hold up or would vibrate / bump lose. However, I decided to give it a try as it wasn't a lot of money. Let me say that this mount has been awesome!! Super easy to install. Super sturdy. Super easy to adjust. Holds GPS really snug but is still very easy to pop GPS in and out of the holder. It has surpassed all my expectations. I highly recommend this mount. Very well made. Super deal for the price.

FITS LIKE A GLOVE - WORKS GREAT
Pros: easy install, safe & secure
This is my second Ram GPS Mount, they're reasonably priced so I bought a second for my other quad.
The Ram mount is well built, easy to mount, secure and most importantly fits my Garmin Oregon GPS like a glove.
I bought surface mount bal for my Truck and a suction cup mount for rental vehicles so I can take my Oregon with me just by removing the Cradle of my Quad.
Ram products are great and this is one of the best, well designed excellent value!

THE BEST GPS MOUNT

Cons: none i've noticed yet
I have used basically the same mount for my GPS Map 76, My 76 CS and GPSMAP 76CSX spanning a period of about 6 years. I never had a mount related failure. It is very versatile and allows for quickly mounting or removing the GPS. In the case of the Oregon version, I cannot say I have used it for any length of time but expect it will be by far, the best mount for my GPS while hunting and ATV'ing.

OREGON 400T RAM MOUNT

Cons: wasn't a perfect fit for my application
I bought this for a heritage softail mc. I am not sure if the handlebars are bigger than the one inch standard or not, but the plastic insert to shield the u bolt made the u bolt to short to get to the locking part of the locking nut. so i just sanded the edges of the shield with some course sandpaper and it worked great.

SOLID SECURE MOUNT - POOR PAINT
Pros: safe, solid, secure, easy to install, adjustable
Cons: poor paint finish
Great mount fits on both my Polaris Sportsman and Yamaha Kodiak ATV/Quad handlebars. Holds my GPS securely and easy to transfer between ATV's.
The mount allows you to adjust for viewing at just the right angle and places the GPS in just the right spot.
The ball clamping assembly is easy to remove for trailering, when covering with a tarp or transferring between ATV's.
Quick and easy to install.
My buddy has the same Garmin Oregon GPS and his mount is ugly - securing the GPS with rubber bands.
I would have given this mount 5 stars however the rubber paint coating is awful. The paint on the underside of the ball was chipped off right inside the sealed package due to shipping or handling. Installing the mount and adjusting it also flaked some of the paint off. I don't know why the rubber coated paint just flakes off the metal but if Ram could do something about that it would be great.
All in all on my ATV's a little paint chipping is no big deal, it might be more of a concern on a Street Bike.
Overall good product, secure mount and the best I've seen I'd recommend it and caution high end motorcycle enthusiasts to be prepared for a little paint to chip off the mount.

This mount bracket looked a bit cheap, ( it is cost wise ) but the fixture is surprisingly stable and easy to install. Then once on it actually looks really good.

First of all, this mount holds my oregon 200 so securily and it is made of high quality materials. I mounted it on my bicycle (mountain bike).

WORKS GREAT
I mounted my Oregon 400T on the handlebars of my KLR650 and it works great. It was easy to use and is very sturdy. I wiped out in mud and broke the mirror off, but the RAM mount survived.

It´s great BUT I have problems with weak eyesight so I am going to returna it and go back to the GPSMAP 60CSx which I found has greater contrast and on motorcycle and dark glasses is easier for me to read.

Very strong, high quality materials. Holds the GPS firmly on my dual-purpose motorcycle (Suzuki DR-Z400S) even while I'm riding in rough terrain off-road -- never slipped / moved. Would definitely buy again.

I bought it for my bicycle (not motorcycle). I think it is better than the one specifically for bicycles: it has many adjustments and fit it. I will try it next summer.
