SOLID AND CONVENIENT
Pros: solid, convenient Cons: dependent on location of your cupholder
This mount is a great way to use your handheld GPS in the vehicle. I was only using my Oregon for hiking before, but with this mount, I use it in the truck whenever I'm going offroad. The base is heavy and the arm is strong enough that, so far, it has held the GPS unit exactly where I have positioned it. I also purchased a power cable to plug into the cigarette lighter, so batteries are not an issue while in the vehicle. I don't use it when I'm driving around town so I like the fact that the mount goes in so easily. The only thing that I can see that might not make it work for someone is the location of the cupholder in your vehicle. In my truck, the cupholder is forward of the shifter. As a result, the position of the GPS is just below the heater control dials on the dashboard, which makes it an ideal location. I tried it in my car, which has the cupholder behind the shifter, and to see the GPS I have to turn my head and therefore take my eyes off the road for too long. Not ideal.

GOLF CART CUP HOLDER MOUNT
Pros: very stable in cart Cons: flex rod holding mount may come loose from base
Good portable mount for my Approach G5. Fits the side water bottle pocket of my golf bag by removing a couple of the rubber fins so it is easy to carry around and keep with golf equipment. Would rate higher but on my first one the flexible rod came loose from the base unit after two months from turning the rod to create the best lighting to read the GPS screen.

GPS INA CUP
Pros: all good news Cons: the 'cup' could be shorter-grande not venti!
we got 2 of these to match up with our Garmin 400C units, to go with our 2 Yahama GTX-HO Waverunners. Firstly, thanks to Yamaha for putting cupholders on their runners (who does that?) and then to RAM. These are the bomb. We haven't lost one yet, and they sit up where you can use then, with out being stuck up in the way.

STURDY ENOUGH FOR ALL APLLICATIONS
This item is very well designed and will possibly fit most cars. If the cup holder has a rubber insert, it is better to remove it for a tighter grip before inserting this holder. The flexible arm is rather stiff, but this is actually very good, because the GPS will no move on bumps, etc.
