My dad and I do some father-son motorcycle trips. We both avoid the superslab when ever possible. Late last September he called and wanted to ride over to the Land Between the Lakes with a request to route it through the more scenic areas.
I've got a Garmin Quest with Mapsource software so I fired up my copy and plotted a meandering route out and back. I've got my Quest mounted on my BMW with a RAM mount and the Quest charging module.
We had a blast, just tooling around the different back roads. It was a great day. We don't get to spend enough time together any more. |
