The RAM High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the following GPS units,
- Garmin Quest
- Garmin Quest 2
RAM Quest 2 Power and Audio Cable (RAM-QPAC1):
The RAM Quest Power and Audio Cable (RAM-QPAC1), is a must have for motorcyclist and all other Garmin Quest enthusiasts looking to securely hold their GPS, while keeping it fully charged.
The 3.5mm female audio jack allows connection to such devices as a helmet headset, car stereos, and other audio communication equipment.
The unique design sandwiches all the electronics in a weather proof housing, firmly between the custom RAM Quest cradle and diamond shaped attachment base. The patented RAM rubber ball technology helps dampen the rigors of the worst roads, while the special internal circuitry is made to withstand heat up to 212 degrees F. Simply put, the RAM Quest powered cradle is the best possible mounting solution on the road today.
INCLUDED WITH THE CRADLE:
The cradle includes a set of two nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any of the RAM compatible mounts, and the RAM Quest Power and Audio Cable (RAM-QPAC1)
IMPORTANT MOUNTING INFORMATION:
If you already own the cradle shown above, or any other cradle with a hole pattern that will match the RAM Diamond Plate hole spacing, then you require one of the RAM Assemblies listed below. If you are looking to purchase a complete mount for the above cradle, take a look at the Complete Mount list below.
The cradle does not ship with a RAM ball. To add a 1'' ball to this cradle you need to purchase either the Aluminum Diamond Plate with 1'' ball (RAM-B-238) or Plastic Diamond Plate with 1'' ball (RAP-B-238). If you need to mount this cradle on a 1.5'' ball system, you will require the Aluminum 2.5'' diameter Round Plate (RAM-202) as RAM does not make a Diamond plate in the 1.5'' ball size. |
