ONLY 1 DRAWBACK
Pros: solidy constructed, vacuum cup sticks like glue
Cons: no external power attachment possible
I purchased this for use in my F-350. It mounts securely on the windshield just next to the A pillar. Construction and finish is very good. The only drawback to this mount (like others I've tried) is that you cannot attach the external power cable to the unit while it's in the mount.

REALLY GOOD GPS MOUNT.
i use the mount during a fishing tournament and work really good.never let go in the wave.

VERY HAPPY, ONLY 1 SMALL COMPLAINT
Pros: secure, strong
Cons: can't charge gps in mount
This mount works great. I drive a ¾ ton Chev, off road, and the mount holds the windshield and more importantly, my GPS secure. I would recommend this mount to anyone. My only complaint (because nothing’s perfect) is that you can’t charge the GPS while in the mount. You have to remove it (an extremely difficult task because of the secure hold this mount has on the unit). Otherwise, I’m very happy.
