LOVE THIS MOUNT!
I have this mounted right in the middle of my handlebars. The 3" extension makes my GPS easily visible over my tank bag. It's solid, secure, easy to install, easy to adjust, and very quick to put on and remove. The cradle holds my GPS firmly so there's no worrying if you hit a stretch of bad road. I have absolutely no complaints!

GARMIN 26XX RAM MOUNT
Pros: very easy installation, easy to position. Cons: didn't like the end-caps for the nuts, so left off
My brother in law recommended this unit, and was he every right! Incredibly easy installation, and the cradle that came with the unit was much better than the Garmin mounting kit cradle I had already purchased. Very simple installation, rock solid on my old 1981 Honda GL1100I, even with the bad suspension!. Took it for a trip in PA, and no issue even in construction areas. Also able to adjust easily to keep instruments clear.

WORTH THE EXPENSE
Pros: solid components, easy to instal, easy to adjust Cons: expensive, but gpscity had the best prices
I always thought RAM mounts were expensive for being nothing more than a few components that could probably be made in China for just a few dollars. But since finally buying one, I'm wondering why I waited so long. The mounts are very sturdy and install easily. My GPS is solidly mounted to my handlebars and the viewing angle was very easy to adjust. It's a great product and well worth the investment!

GPS RAM MOUNT
Pros: easily switch from one motorcycle to another. Cons: we'll see
I bought this mount primarily for use on a KLR650 which sees a lot of Forest Service roads which often times are only suitable for 4wd vehicles. Unfortunately, because of the amount of company I've had lately, I haven't been able to put this device to its intended use so I don't know how well it will hold the gps itself on rough roads. I have had a chance to use it on my FZ!, and on the street the mount is more than capable. It is easy to mount or unmount your gps (in this case a Garmin 2720 Street Pilot). I bought an extra handlebar mount which allows me to switch from bike to another in less than 3 minutes.

I installed this mount in a 2002 Corvette. Due to limited space in a vette as on motorcycles, this mounts compactness and adjustability allows for a very clean install in my wifes vette. In the process of ordering second bracket for my vette
