The RAM-B-149Z-GA9 Garmin StreetPilot 26xx 27xx 28xx Series Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Zinc Coated U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Garmin StreetPilot 26xx 27xx 28xx series mount to your optimum viewing position.
Garmin GPS Mount Options:
 To help ensure you have the Garmin StreetPilot 26xx 27xx 28xx Series Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Garmin GPS mounts on the RAM-HOL-GA9 Series of Garmin StreetPilot 26xx 27xx 28xx Cradles and Mounts Page. Here you can select from suction cup GPS mounts, flat surface screw down GPS mounts, GPS car mounts, non skid weighted GPS mounts and more bundled with the RAM-HOL-GA9 Garmin StreetPilot 26xx 27xx 28xx Series Cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-GA9 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin StreetPilot 26xx, 27xx, 28xx Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin StreetPilot 2610
- Garmin StreetPilot 2620
- Garmin StreetPilot 2650
- Garmin StreetPilot 2660
- Garmin StreetPilot 2720
- Garmin StreetPilot 2730
- Garmin StreetPilot 2820
All cables and the Garmin cradle can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Plate:
 The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.0 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-B-238 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-B-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-B-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231Z RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
Note: If you are looking to use this mount in the elements, we suggest the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount.
