I WAS LOOKING FOR A NEW DASH CRADLE
Pros: it did not meet my need.
Cons: i thought it was a complete dash support
I was selling my Garmin 330. The suction cup had given out. I thougth I was ordering a new unit that would support the Garmin 330 on the dash of the car or on the window. I received this unit and thought, what am I supposed to do with this? I just threw it in the trash. It was not wwhat my need required especially for the cost.

I would definately recomend to anyone who need to mount their Ipod to buy a cradle from this company because of their service and products. I have been totaly pleased.

RAM REPLACEMENT MOUNT
I purchased the cradle on line thinking that it came with female electrical connection that my garmin 330 fits into, i had broken the connection earlier.So when it arrived , no electrical connection. I contacted customer service to be told that the connection didn't come with it and could not be purchased separately. So I now have a $12.00 part that cost $10.00 to ship, sending it back makes no sense because then i would have spent $34.00 for nothing.
Any idea where I can purchase the electrical fitting for the bottom of the cradle? By the way the one you sent doesn't fit the mounting assembly I have.

This is a perfect replacement for the original Garmin cradle. (Mine was for the c330.) Very easy to install but you'll need other RAM accessories such as the 3" arm and suction base.

USE ON A MOTORCYCLE
Bob from PA,I was looking at this site for just that purpose. To mount my C330 on the bike. Out of curiousity, where exactly did it come apart on your Honda? Did the unit come out of the clip? The clip off the ball? Other? What arm and ball mount would you suggest if any?

MOTORCYCLE APPLICATION
This device is allegedly designed for use on a motorcycle with a ball mount and arm from RAM. I have one with a short arm mounted on my HD Road King and another with a long arm mounted on my Honda Valkyrie Interstate. While traveling to Myrtle Beach last year the Harley hit a small pothole and my Garmin C330 popped out of the cradle and somehow I caught it. This should have been lesson learned but yesterday on my Honda at about 60 mph I hit a bump in the road and out came the C330 and I watched from my rear view as it bounced along the Interstate. I went back and it was toast. DO NOT USE THIS FOR A MOTORCYCLE APPLICATION!!

The mount is great but I wish it came with the electrical connection.
I still like to use the original bracket for rental cars but I now cannot plug it into the power outlet.

The product was shipped expeditiously. However, it didn't come with any instructions as to how it can fixed to my automobile. It seems as though something is missing or purchased to use this product.

The molded plastic RAM mount fits the Garmin c340 perfectly. The 12v power supply connector can be removed from the factory supplied windshield mount and placed in the RAM mount with two small screws.
