Manufacturer Description |
The RAM-B-149Z-GA19 Garmin StreetPilot c300 Series Short Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Zinc Coated U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Garmin StreetPilot c300 Series mount to your optimum viewing position.
Garmin GPS Mount Options:
To help ensure you have the Garmin StreetPilot c300 Series Mount you require, take a look at the list of available RAM Garmin GPS mounts on the RAM-HOL-GA19 Series of StreetPilot c300 series Cradles and Mounts Page. Here you can select from suction cup GPS mounts, flat surface screw down GPS mounts, GPS car mounts, non skid weighted GPS mounts and more bundled with the RAM-HOL-GA19 Garmin StreetPilot c300 Series Cradle.
Garmin GPS Mount Cradle Design:
The RAM-HOL-GA19 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin StreetPilot c3xx Series GPS which includes following units,
- Garmin StreetPilot c320
- Garmin StreetPilot c330
- Garmin StreetPilot c340
- Garmin StreetPilot c310 (European Version)
To use the 12V Power Cable, while the GPS is in the RAM Mount cradle, you will need to remove the cable from the Garmin cradle (included with the purchase of the GPS). Simply remove the screw holding the power cable in the Garmin cradle, and reconnect it to the RAM Mount RAM-HOL-GA19 Cradle.
The Garmin StreetPilot c5xx Series GPS, including the StreetPilot c510, c530, c550 and c580, WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA22 RAM Mount Connector Cradle for the Garmin G-Ball Socket on the back of the GPS unit.
Garmin GPS Mount Arm Design:
 The RAM-B-201-A RAM Mount Dual Socket Short Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Dual Socket Arm made of Marine Grade Aluminum. The arm is 1.75 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-B-201A arm, take a closer look with the RAM-B-201A Design Drawings (pdf file).
Garmin GPS Mount Base Design:
 The RAM-B-231Z RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Zinc Coated metal U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
Note: If you are looking to use this mount in the elements, we suggest the RAM-B-231 Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount.
