WELL WORTH THE MONEY
Pros: very versatile!! Cons: none
Would strongly recommend this mount, it allows you to mount a gps unit in spots where you otherwise would not be able to! when they say it can support up to 10 lbs they mean it!! great product!!!!!

BEST N THE MARKET
Pros: availability, mounting option, ease of use Cons: none
I purchased this to mount my Garmin unit in my fourwinns boat. Due to limited surface space to mount the unit this RAM Mount helps to keep the Garmin unit visible yet out of the road. The mount also saves the unit from the hammering of the waves when your out on the water. (reduces the shock have had screens go blank in the psat)

REALLY COOL!
Pros: any angle possible, solid construction - american Cons: none
My boat has a small helm with a low angle windshield and this mount made it possible for me to mount a Garmin 541s in the boat. No way otherwise. GPSCity great help too - best price & availability. Best of all -- MADE IN USA!

HEAVY DUTY MOUNT
Pros: heavy duty, simple to use/install, rock solid. Cons: none.
I just recieved my RAM-101-G2U mount. WOW!!! this thing is HEAVY DUTY!!!. I got it for a Garmin 300C fish finder and it is a little bit larger than I really need for the job. The mount is simple in design and rock solid when locked in position. The degree of motion with the swivel mounts allows for a very wide range of view. Mounts half the size by the same manufacturer were twice the price at my local shop.

GPS MOUNT
I have not used this mount as it is for use on my sail boat. There were no dimensions for this mount on the RAM website. It would have been nice to have the center portion of the mount a few inches longer as I will be using it in a horizontal installation.I can't rate it as I have not used it yet.

BASIC GARMIN RAM MOUNT
Pros: solid, will not sway Cons: when i find one, i'll let you know
To mount my Garmin 441 at both binnacle and NAV station, I used this RAM mount and 1 rail ball mount, and bought 1 extra Garmin wiring harness. The mount is easy to install and solid - it will not move even in 25 kt winds and rocking waves/chop. The universal adapter plate fit the Garmin perfectly and I have 360 degree adjustment capability, which comes in handy when you're steering and you want crew to plot/navigate.
To relocate the GPS, I unplug the wiring harness, loosen the mount, and carry it to the other location, tightening it and plugging it in there.
Wiring the Garmin properly is a lot more work than mounting it ^(

WELL-MADE, WELL-DESIGNED
Pros: solid, well-built, well-designed Cons: none noted
A solid and well-designed product. It works as advertised and should give many years of reliable service. Its one of those things like a really solid tool that just works. Swivels in pretty much any direction.

STURDY
Great mount for my Garmin GPS, I think it even absorbs some shock that would be otherwise transmitted to the GPS. Easy to install, sturdy, and does not loosten up. Allows for many viewing positions.
