Product Description
The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Garmin GPSMAP 60C Series.
BASE DESIGN:
 The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.
To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black plactice covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.
NOTE: This base is completly rust proof.
For Small Rail Mounting:For a smaller rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Plastic U-Bolt Adapter for circular rails with diameter down to 0.5 inches.
For Larger Rail Mounting:For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.
ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.
CRADLE DESIGN:
The RAM-HOL-GA12 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin GPS 60 and GPSMAP 60 Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin Astro 220 Series
- Garmin GPS 60
- Garmin GPSMAP 60
- Garmin GPSMAP 60C
- Garmin GPSMAP 60CS
- Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx
