Product Description
The RAM High Strength SHORT Plastic Rail Mount consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket with button system and RAM Plastic Cradle for the Garmin GPSMAP 60C Series.
BASE DESIGN:
The High Strength Plastic Rail Base has a 1.0'' diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Rail 'U' Clamp will fit a circular rail with diameter from 1.0''.
For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM-B-231LSS Large Rail Base for circular rails with diameter from 1/2'' to 1 3/8''.
To mount to a circular rail, simple press the plastic 'U' clamp around the rail and then connect and tighten the small nut and bolt to close the 'U' clamp.
NOTE: Placing a rubber lining (not included) between the tube and the mount for a tube with a diameter less than 1'' will help the base 'grab' the rail.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MOTORCYCLES USES: This base is not recommended for Motorcycles due to the heavy vibration. An alternative would be the RAM-B-231 and RAM-B-149 Stainless Steel U-Bolts.
ARM DESIGN:
The High Strength Plastic SHORT Length Single Socket Arm is 1.75'' long when measured from socket center to button socket end.
CRADLE DESIGN:
The RAM-HOL-GA12 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold the Garmin GPS 60 and GPSMAP 60 Series, including the following GPS units,
- Garmin Astro 220 Series
- Garmin GPS 60
- Garmin GPSMAP 60
- Garmin GPSMAP 60C
- Garmin GPSMAP 60CS
- Garmin GPSMAP 60Cx
- Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle. |
